My background
Pastor Angela is a native of Jackson Mississippi where she received her formal education at Jackson State University and American Intercontinental University. She was licensed and ordained into the ministry in 2000 under the leadership of Dr. Dwayne K. Pickett, Sr. In December 2009 she was consecrated as Pastor under Bishop Derrick Traylor. Currently, she is under the Apostolic Covering of Bishop Walter and Pastor Doris Scott of Portland Miracle Revival Center, Portland Oregon.
Prophetess/Pastor Angela Slater is the co-founder of City of Grace Church International in Aloha, Oregon and Irving, Texas under the leadership of Senior Pastor and co-founder Dennis Slater.
My faith
Pastor Angela has held many positions in the body of Christ such as Chaplin, Teacher, Director of Prayer, Director of Altar Care, Small Group Leader, and Minister of Pastoral Care, member of the Praise Team, Choir Member and Facilitator of Worship Service.
Pastor Angela is not only a dynamic teacher of the gospel, but she is a Holy Ghost filled, Anointed and Appointed Preacher of the gospel.
Pastor Angela operates within the fivefold ministry, with emphasis on the Prophetic & Apostolic. She has delivered many powerful messages such as: “When the Saints Come Marching In”, “Mind over the Matter," "Hot Off the Press," "Something about the Name Jesus," "Offended in my Father’s House," "It’s a Done Deal”, and "Amazing Grace."
Pastor Angela is the author of Offended in My Father’s House and coming March 2, 2024- Stop the Elevator.
Additionally, she has been a vessel for God in powerful prayer services where God has manifested Himself through physical healing and deliverance.

Pastor Angela is the founder of Angela Slater Ministries under this umbrella several areas of ministry are covered: The Fresh Wind Crusade; Offended in My Father’s House Workshop; Mommy-2-Mommy Outreach; Daughters of Destiny mentor-ship and First Ladies Society Empowerment.
